1950's Tripod table possibly Carl Aubock
This piece was discovered in an oppulant appartment full of excellent known and unknown art and design. Whilst the table has the appearance of an Aubock table I can not authenticate it (hence the price !! ). A typical table from Aubock would normally be cut from a tree log and be rather more asymetical, each table being completely unique ,although there are known examples of plank table surfaces such as the piece offered.
Aubock or not ,it is still a beautiful quirky side table made in solid cherry wood with lovely tubular brass legs with 60 yrs of pattina.
