Bespoke sixties shelving
This Shelving and storage system was built in the sixties, I have included a picture of the house that it came from.
It was extremely well built and can be mounted easily with the weight being distributed via a central vertical support,This means that it could be used as a room divider, mounted to the ceiling and floor as shown. It also means that you do not have to rely on the wall for support ,which is a consideration when dealing with old walls.
The interior of the teak cabinets is a light sycamor timber which provides a lovely contrast and all have a lock and key
